Trick-or-treating is one of the most exciting parts of the Halloween season! Kids get to dress up as their favorite characters, parents get the joy of watching their little ones get excited, and who doesn’t love candy? Going door to door enjoying the decorations, haunted houses, and candy is nothing short of an amazing night. But Halloween is so much more than costumes and decorations. It’s spooky season! It’s decorating the house with spiderwebs, it’s carving pumpkins, it’s going to fall festivals and corn mazes. There's something for everyone.

While Halloween is full of fun activities, it also comes with chilly weather. When you’re out trick-or-treating with the kids, it’s easy to get cold! Going door to door while your little ones get candy is certainly heart-warming, but the weather can make it bone-chilling! It’s hard to enjoy the special occasion when you’re miserable, and that goes for any other fall activity! It’s important to stay warm so that you can enjoy the little things.

Costumes for Moms

Minnie-Mouse

Minnie-Mouse is a classic costume and will pair great with your little one if they’re wearing a cartoon costume! The best part? Minnie-Mouse is super easy to do. All you need to do is wear a black heated fleece jacket or a classic heated black vest and throw a pair of Minnie-Mouse ears on and you’re set! If you want to go the extra mile, you can always paint on a cute little black nose to finish the look.

If you’re not sure if you want to choose from the black jacket or vest, consider the climate that you live in and how hot you run. If you tend to be on the chillier side, go for the heated fleece jacket. If you tend to run warmer or live in a climate that isn’t too harsh, go for the classic black vest. Fairytale Princess

Who doesn't want to be a princess? For this look, choose the purple heated fleece vest and throw on a tiara and you’re good to go! You can always choose to do some fancy makeup to complete the look (and to make yourself feel amazing). Because the vest is a bright purple, you’ll look most like Rapunzel or Aurora, both of whom are classic princesses. If your little one is going as Elsa, Belle, Cinderella, or any other princess, this will be the perfect costume for you to match.

Catwoman 

If your child’s costume is a character from the comic book world, you can always go with the easy Catwoman look. All you have to do is throw on a pair of cat ears and you’re done.  If you want to go for the traditional black cat look instead, you can always paint on a nose and a pair of whiskers. Batman

Batman is a beloved superhero and is the perfect costume to pair with Superman, the Joker, Wonder Woman, or any other character. Who knows, maybe you and your child could both go as Batman! This is a super easy costume to do because all you need is a black piece of ororo apparel and a batman mask. If you really want to get into character, you could even put on a cape!

When it comes to choosing which piece of heated apparel to wear, you have so many options. You may choose the black classic heated jacket if you live in a colder climate (or if you’re always cold), or the black lightweight heated down vest if the weather where you live isn’t as harsh. Either way, you’ll make a great Batman!

Hulk

If your child loves superheroes, they’ll love that you’ll go dressed as the Hulk! All you need is a green classic heated vest and a pair of hulk gloves. Easy, right?
