Overall the quality of the mittens is good. As the mittens are intended to use when wearing skiing attire that I found the cuffs are a bit tight to go over the sleeves. The shape of the batteries making the wearing more difficult.

I am 5 foot 2 photographer with tiny hands. I ordered a Large so that I could wear a thin pair of gloves underneath. I can barely get my hand wearing a very thin glove into the mitt. I am not sure how a man of any size could wear these. They heated enough for comfort at -10C .

They do stay warm for a decent amount of time so that is great. My main concern is that the cuffs are exactly the right size to be too big to go into my coat sleeves and too small to go over them. I'm dealing with it ;-)

I waited to give a review until I try these mittens, I have a pair of their heated gloves and I like them so I want it for the extreme cold mittens. I went out at -13 with windchill of -30. My hands were warm occasionally I needed to go to the highest setting, but basically I was on the lowest setting most of the day and the batteries lasted the entire day from about 9 to 3.. I've also used the the mittens on days that it was in the 20s and they did not need to put the heat on. They were so well insulated.. I like the fact that I can take my fingers out to do zippers. Use my telephone and put them right back in and they stay warm.. I was a little skeptical about these mittens because I was looking at mittens in the four to $500 range and I think these perform well

My hands have been cold for years, no matter what type of glove or mitten I have used. I received these Mitts for Xmas and can honestly say, my hands and fingers are very pleased. We have experienced windchills of -28 -30 this winter and had no issues whether out shovelling or for a walk.. Having the Flip top, makes reaching into ones pocket or answering a cell so much more comfortable. I would highly recommend these Heated Flip Top Mittens to anyone looking.
