I have a heated vest that I really like and thought I would try the mitts as a Christmas present to myself. Worn twice now and today at only -9 degrees C. Well I have to say that I am very disappointed! They are well made and look great but the heat output really, really sucks! I had on high for over an hour and my fingers got very cold and could only barely feel any heat. Had several other people try them on ant this point, and they all agreed that the heat output on high maybe would’ve been a low setting not High! I cannot recommend a purchase at $170.00 for something a $20.00 pair of hardware mitts doesn’t do! Wish there were ways for me to return and get my money back! Maybe I would try a different manufacturer, or the ones I got has a defective heat grid, but once you buy this stuff on line and companies have your money nobody cares any longer to make a customer happy.

Tried these for the first time today after a blizzard. Temperature is only -17. I shovelled for about 45 minutes and did not have to go warm up but I was underwhelmed as my hands were still cold... just not frozen. I have Raynaud's syndrome and I thought this would help and it did to a degree. If today had been -25 or -30 I don't think these would have worked. I will try with thin gloves next time.
