Can I wear it on the plane or put it in carry-on bags?

Sure, you can wear it on the plane. All ororo heated apparel is TSA-friendly. All ororo batteries are lithium batteries and you must keep them in your carry-on luggage.
Will the heated apparel work at temperatures below 32℉/0℃?

Yes, it will still work well. However, if you’re going to spend a lot of time in sub-zero temperatures, we recommend you purchase a spare battery so you don’t run out of heat!
Is it suitable for outdoor activities?

Yes, the outer shell is wind-resistant and water-resistant. Whether you’re commuting, hiking, or working outdoors, this vest provides the durable protection you need.
I’m tall—how much extra length will I get in the Tall version?

Received a vest as a gift and was very excited as it snows in Canada this morning. But I found out I need to buy a charger as ororo recommends only to use your chargers. Only to find out it is sold out on your website, so the vest will go into the closet until next winter. Very negative customer experience from the person who gave me the gift and from myself. You should indicate a charger has to be purchased separately when ordering, I understand the company wants to say a few bucks, but left with a vest I am excited about, but cannot use for now, unnecessary frustration and disappointment.

We’re so sorry for the frustration! Good news: you can actually use any standard USB charger (like your phone plug) you already have at home to power up your vest. We only include the cable to reduce electronic waste, but we are updating our manuals to make this compatibility much clearer.

Decent vest, and fairly good value when on sale for $160. However, the back behind your neck heats up much more than the hands. Would prefer if heating was more balanced

Excellent. Battery takes almost 4 hours to recharge which was surprising. Overall a good investment though. Gave as a gift.
